I just uploaded the final proof.pdf of the book and noticed that the Amazon listing is up for the book. I enjoyed reading the thing, in its entirety, these past few days. It is packed full with good info and silly asides that makes the journey to rigging enjoyable. The info itself presents each concept clearly in small tutorials and then holistically in larger tutorials. Also, the info is presented in such a way that it should survive multiple versions of the software fairly well and have a longer shelf life. I’ve added videos to the companion data that will help highlight topics and cover newer concepts that come up in newer versions of Maya. Oh boy, how exciting. I hope you enjoy it. I’ve been wanting to get that out of my head for years. The student work in it (and on the cover) looks lovely!
