Hybrid – Chapter One

Second Editions are fun! Not having to start from a blank slate is wonderful. Chapter one has been carved up into the printed portion, a digital topic overview and a digital hands on exercise.  The printed portion has been given an update to include more than just american animation and retains the meat of the introduction:

What is Hybrid Animation (2D/3D)? Why use on medium over another? What are the problems of combining the mediums?  The hands on portion of the chapter are better served as supplementary materials. This way I can leave more pages for hands on use of software. Ooohhh the software. Now to start getting the beta versions installed.
